Edgewater at Boca Pointe, in Boca Raton, Florida, hosted a beautiful marriage celebration for several couples in June. Residents and staff all got dressed to the nines! There were many couples honored that evening, who were able to “walk down the aisle” and reminisce about their happy years together, many of which had been spent living at the Acts Retirement-Life Community.
The evening began with a social hour before the event that had an awesome photo booth, delicious food, and refreshments. After the guests were seated, the processional could begin. The music commenced, and the “brides and grooms” walked down the aisle to everyone’s delight. The residents were then treated to a wonderful sit-down meal facilitated by the culinary staff!
This evening was a show of love and dedication all around. From the huge effort made by the residents who helped plan the evening, to the Acts staff who moved mountains to make it happen, to the culinary team completely transforming the dining venue into a beautiful reception hall! It was a fantastic evening, and a great time was had by all.
