Residents across our Acts family enjoyed celebrating Mardi Gras, the French translation for "Fat Tuesday," with costumes, beads and food.
Azalea Trace, in Pensacola, FL, celebrated the joyous occasion with an elaborate parade of 13 colorful floats, creatively crafted with great pride by residents. It was a spectacular sight to see!
About 200 residents and staff dressed in costume and crowned a king and queen during the festivities. Perhaps the best part of Mardi Gras at Acts communities -- the food!
Acts' chefs and culinary teams prepared sumptuous feasts with all the prerequisite foods including beignets, king cake, flambeau punch and much more. The above photo is a menu of what was served at Indian River Estates in Vero Beach, FL. Restaurants across Acts various campuses offered similar treats residents loved!
As you can see, Acts' team members also wholeheartedly joined in the fun.
Happy Mardi Gras everyone!
