Local Huntsville media has taken quite the liking to Magnolia Trace resident Frances Robb, who was featured again this weekend in an interview with another local TV station (just two weeks ago, it was FOX-54).
This past weekend, CBS-affiliate WHNT-Channel 19 aired a sit-down interview with Mrs. Robb, where she discussed her lifelong interest and expertise in Alabama state history. Sharing the book she wrote, “Shot in Alabama,” Mrs. Robb talked about her life, much of which has been dedicated to researching influential 20th and 21st-century Alabama photographers and images impactful to state history.
Just this past week, she spoke at the Huntsville Botanical Garden on the topic, just in time for the state’s bi-centennial celebration. The interview ran twice, for the evening segment, as well as the following morning, but was not archived on the station's website, so there is no recorded video to share.
